WOW! I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this. I was pretty desperate because it can be so frustrating trying to open jars with tight lids. This device is amazing! It really works! I've used it on large jars with larger lids and small jars with small lids, and it works for all of them. The only thing is I can't vouch for how easy it would be for a person with arthritis, because I don't have arthritis. But for a regular person having trouble opening jars, it is definitely useful. Recommended!

use this gadget more often than expected. I find sitting the "teeth" on the lid a little tricky and I believe twisting in the opposite direction is what is confusing me but it works and only takes seconds to figure out. Regardless how tight the seal, this jar opener has not failed in opening a jar thus far. Happy to have it!
I have needed a jar opener for a long while now> I was worried about quality and remember my Mom had one like this 40 years ago that worked well and was very durable. Very happy with purchase and so much easier to use than the electric ones.
Both my husband and I are in our 80's. \My hands are so weak that I can no longer open most jars. My husband can but he's not always available. I was skeptical of this little gadget but ordered it anyway. I still don't know just how it works BUT it does work. I will tell some friends about it as they have the same problem.
